Interesting. For some reason I thought hot cross buns were only a British Easter speciality! Live and learn!

You are right, as you know the hot cross bun's place of origin is England, and traditionally eaten on Good Friday in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa, and some parts of the Americas, including Canada and the United States.

I made them following the recipe of “BBC - goodfood".

It is Easter and important for all Christian countries. You can share these special days with your friends, and you can make these buns any where of the world.... Also I have a very special English friend, and so I know the traditions of England!.
