One of the joys of teaching Business English is the early start of a morning! Top executives want to have their classes between 7 and 8:30. I do sometimes get to see sunrises in compensation!

Amazingly, my first walk in the Sierra de La Cabrera since December 2015!
And it hasn't changed a bit!

Even the out of bounds and long decommissioned nuclear research station of Nancekuke seen on the horizon at far right can't much detract from the scene.

Asparagus and Samphire Islands from Carvannel Downs, Cornwall. My girlfriend was bowled over by this view and didn't want to leave!
(She had only ever seen it it on cloudy / misty days before - what a difference a bit of sun makes in Cornwall!).
I know where it is, but can any of you spot St Ives here?

North Cliffs, Cornwall.
This shot is taken from the ramparts of Crane Castle, or what is left of this Iron Age hill fort. The flowering bank in the foreground leads up to the top of the landward defensive rampart; nearly all of the fort is now under the sea and would have occupied the now disappeared land between this position and the island ahead.
Saint Day. Dull day.

Not all Cornish photos can be full of exciting clifftops, dramatic skies or sunny days.

Whether it's a Shetland pony as all the notices say, or not, has been discussed at length on Panoramio. I still don't know!. I can't get local people to confirm either. People say it is too big to be a Shetland. I should put this question on Rene's new group! Perhaps I will!

From a former flat in Hortaleza, Madrid.
This hasn't been posted before. There were 2 or 3 posted on Pano and one here from the same sunrise, but all at different stages.

Sierra de La Cabrera, Madrid Province. Underneath the fog in the distance is Madrid.
Still in love after all these millennia!

One of the ascent / descent routes to or from the ridge of La Sierra de La Cabrera. I took the shot from the path (steep, admittedly but neither exposed nor dangerous!), not the cliff face.
However, I don't expect micritter to believe me! :o)
