Godrevy Coast. The shot includes the path down to Fishing Cove, very obvious here, and a doddle, despite its fearsome aspect; you can see a walker on the path. Hell's Mouth is tucked away third cove from the right.

Granite and coastal platform. Bosigran and Rosemergy Farm. Cornwall - West Penwith typicity. Below is Carn Galver engine house. Tin was mined here between approx 1850 and 70. Rather late - Cornish tin was already being out-competed on price from East Asia. It was the end of Cornish tin mining to any meaningful extent.
Also, the stone walls seen mid-distance here ('fences' in Cornish dialect) are thought to be the oldest extant man-made stone constructions - still used for their original purpose - of any in the world, at up to 8,000 years old.

I was lucky with a few dawn shots from this flat in 2012/2013. It coincided with the 6 months of functionality of my old Canon Ixus digital 700, which was great for sunrises/sunsets and also night shots. Sadly it stopped accepting charge from any battery I tried. Experts couldn't understand it either. it sits forlornly in a cupboard and I wish I could use it again!

A very enjoyable corner crack climb which I did back in 1978. Right Angle is a famous climb at a modest HS E4 grade but that was near my upper limit and this was the best climb I had done at that time. What you see here is only the final third of the climb. The first two thirds comprise an interesting long traverse downwards to the foot of the crack.
