HANWE Everyone! Lane near St Day. ... And a tree trying to escape!
Another low light offering on my constitutional walk at this time of day. The days are starting to get longer so I can start to use the unlit back lanes and paths at last. I would hazard a guess that this lane is very ancient indeed!
I just liked this overhanging tree.
View on large for a rather spooky twilight effect.

It's pretty safe, Tanja. I meet families doing walks here, including toddlers and so on!

Schiller obv knew what he was talking about. He also wrote about the 13th century in Germany; 'These terrible times, these frightening times' - but, sorry it's too long ago. I think it was about Hohenstaufen / Guelph internecine warfare. But I may be wrong.

Well, Keith a walk in the footpaths of my Mum and Dad who used to walk here regulary but can't now ... so I walk it on their behalf ... weather permitting!
