Very dry, but very beautiful ****************

At first glance the granite looks barren and a bit desolate, but if you look closely there is a surprising amount of foliage among the rocks and some subtle colours from the lichen. Add in the blue sky and the lovely mountains in the background and you have a surprisingly beautiful image..!! Nicely composed and taken Andy.

A month later and 'barren and desolate' would be right! But in May there is a bit of spring greenery in the mix.
