I haven't eaten there for maybe 5-6 years but it's prices seemed fair, yes more than a pub lunch but not as pricey as a top restaurant. They do good and filling pub snacks too, in the bar.

Rosamunde Pilcher and my great aunt were friends!
I never met her but I knew her offspring!
Not my favourite literary style but pleasingly popular in Germany for some reason, and the Cornish Tourist Board has been very grateful!!
I recently saw a German film on TV,of one of her stories dubbed into Spanish. Laughable plot and the acting was (to my mind) not brilliant, but the scenery had been taken straight from my Cornwall photos here. It was strange seeing the north coast in one shot and the south coast in the next but the actors were still in the same scene! :o)
These German films could never be shown in Britain - too ridiculous for many reasons. The main one is that Germans simply can't play Cornish people; they remain German!!
