This photograph was taken last September. Due to this summer’s prolonged drought, I fear the colours won’t be as beautiful as they were last year. The forests in the Alps are suffering terribly from the lack of rain and, unfortunately, this damage is unlikely to be reversed in just a few months. It would need to rain for a whole month straight to restore nature’s quality of life.
