At least it grazes free, not in a "meat farm". Animal suffering is something I could never stand, and nowadays the way most of them are raised for fast growing in terrible conditions to fill supermarket shelves...

Isabel…dieses Tier lebt in einem Freilandmuseum und zwar auf einem Bauernhof, der von den Museumsbetreibern so bewirtschaftet wird, wie man es vor geschätzt 150 Jahren getan hat.
Es gibt Schweine, Gänse, Hühner, Schafe, Ziegen und viele Tiere mehr dort, was aber nicht heißt, dass er nicht irgendwann einmal geschlachtet wird, denn das hat man in der damaligen Zeit ja auch getan.
So schön wie dieses Tier hat es sicher nicht jedes, aber das „Ende“ wird wohl auch hier ein „nützliches“ sein.

Normal. In nature animals kill to feed and therefore survive, we need proteins too. For me the point is most (I read somewhere 96%) of the meat and poultry you find in supermarkets come from animals raised in poor conditions, specially criminal ones when it comes to poultry and egg production.
I don't eat that, maybe I am lucky to have the possibility around me to eat products from animals living with great welfare I can check. When I have a doubt I just don't. While traveling I do it simple: vegan...
Same with fish, more and more, even here, they come from fishfarms, the sea is plenty of them. I don't touch such fish, I only eat from fishermen on the beach, and small fish because biger ones are full od microplastics, etc...
A sad world it became, and people's consumerism makes it worse.
