I´m not a material girl....

I´m not a material girl....

Diane..this is just an ordinary metal ring..about 250-300 years old. The symbols seem to be signs of ownership..maybe it´s hungarian oder from the balkans. I often wonder for whom this ring was made..but it feels good wearing it..must have been an good one ;)
Thank you so much Diane...it´s nice to be able to share this things...sister ;)
Hope you wear your grannys ring till your granddaughter does ;)

Oh, so old! That makes it even more fascinating! I would think someone fairly high up in the social order would wear a ring like this. Is there a museum you could take it to for an opinion?

Re: my own ring. It's a dilemma, because my granddaughter loses every single thing that's smaller than a bicycle. I've given her other jewelry (only one thing was real silver) and have never seen them again. If I ask about them, she has no idea where they are! Arrgh! It's funny, but annoying. :-(
