Samain, ou Samhain, est la fête irlandaise aux origines celtes qui célèbre le passage de la saison estivale claire à la sombre saison de l’hiver. Dans une société qui vit au rythme des moissons, on est bien loin de notre actuel Halloween passé à la moulinette de la culture pop américaine ! En quoi cette fête décrétée comme celtique est-elle à l’origine d’un des évènements les plus commerciaux de nos cultures occidentales ?
