Histoire de Mâts quand Tara quitte le port rade de LORIENT

Tara a repris la mer pour sa 13ème expédition scientifique préparée à terre depuis 2 ans par le laboratoire européen de biologie moléculaire sa nouvelle mission Tara Europa consistera à étudier les effets des actions humaines sur les mers et les côtes européennes la goélette remontera ainsi toute l’Europe jusqu'à la frontière russe avant de redescendre vers la méditerranée d'ici à l'automne elle sera suivie de la terre par un laboratoire mobile de l'embl qui échantillonnera le sol les sédiments et les eaux profondes du littoral pendant que les scientifiques de tara travailleront sur les écosystèmes marins associés le même à proximité immédiate tara retrouvera la terre ferme du 8 au 10 avril pour une première escale à ROSCOFF, une étage symbolique près de la station biologique du centre national de la recherche scientifique partenaire de l'expédition qui doit s'achever dans dix huit mois à LORIENT le passage par l'Atlantique la Manche la mer du Nord la Baltique et la Méditerranée

Tara has set sail again for its 13th scientific expedition, prepared on land for the past two years by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. its new mission, Tara Europa, will consist of studying the effects of human actions on the European seas and coasts. it will be followed from land by an embl mobile laboratory that will sample the soil, sediments and deep waters of the coastline while tara's scientists will work on the associated marine ecosystems in the immediate vicinity. tara will return to dry land from 8 to 10 april for a first stopover in roscoff, a symbolic stop near the biological station of the national center of scientific research, partner of the expedition which should end in eighteen months in LORIENT passage through the Atlantic, the English Channel, the North Sea, the Baltic and the Mediterranean
