Il était une fois l'Ogre et la Princesse

Il était une fois
une belle princesse
qui par un temps affreux
alla se promener
dans une forêt épaisse
mais s'étant égarée
elle aperçut
une jolie clairière
avec au beau milieu
une affreuse chaumière
et dans cette chaumière
vivait un Ogre
"Entre dit -il tu viens à point
pour mon repas"
et il s'empare
d'un long couteau
mais il a vu tout à coup
comme elle est belle
cette princesse
et l'ogre se sent mal

in a thick forest

a pretty clearing
with in the middle
a hideous thatched cottage
and in this cottage
lived an Ogre
"Come in between," he said, "you're coming
for my meal "
and he seizes
of a long knife
but he suddenly saw
She is so pretty
this princess
and the ogre feels bad
Will you say it?
I have a terrible appetite
but you're too pretty he said
to be digested
and the princess soon
leaving the forest
returned to his castle
