It might just need a free update download hopefully. My screen went black and was a hardware issue. Two months is about the time they put out a new generation of computers and you will need to replace;)

I bought a Nikon F five years ago. I replaced the light meter batteries on Saturday. Five years ago I had the light seals replaced on the film back, these were gummy and clumbly. So far, I put one roll of slide film through the camera, and need to send you a couple rolls.
