perhaps if I'd listen to my elders and save money for that rainy day, I wouldn't have the collapsable payday effect. Perhaps it's generational. Each payday my finances implode. More money is not the answer either, it's just being practical that is difficult to comprehend. Seems the generational difference might have to do with war. In my parents day they sent out war bonds for investments, where as now it's more likely to get a credit card, you may save using credit, earn points using it,... it's such a scam. The more you spend the more you earn, yeah right? So many people go bankrupt with that gig. It's always too late to start huh?
