The worst guitars are sought after for their unplayability and lousy sounds. Even the cheap guitars that are gig worthy, are not worth smashing. Townsend from The Who destroyed millions of dollars worth of guitars by todays standards? In any case, I would not ask you to smash a guitar, unless I felt like you really needed to do it. I am still sick over the mishaps I've had in the past with axes. Cameras etc,... anything smashable can get smashed when you are smashed or just think you are smashing.
