Der Dampfer hat eine wildbewegte Vergangenheit und ist noch wesentlich älter als die "Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft" (Baujahr 1895 !).

Sie fährt heute für die Segelschule auf Norderney und liegt nur über Winter in Emden.
