Yesterday night the comet was visible... but I had the wind generators just on the direction...

In here we had no cases at all, so it is not easy to understand what people living in big cities, like you do, went through.
Very little summer visitors this year and they arrive with their fear that we hardly undestand, masked in open air even in places where there is more than social distancing.
Our problem here is economical survival. Locals who can afford it try to help eating in restaurants, going to a quiet bar have a drink outside in the terrace, buying items. Those who came for vacation do the same, so restaurants just survive but summer ends fast and the money won't be enough to go through the winter if we dont have the usual people from cold Northern countries we usually have from October till May.
Of course the virus may come too, but here we are more preocupied with its consequences than by it. A complicated life.
At my age I think that this is not how I expected to live my time left, but so it is, most of my life is behind me, but it is for the young ones I fear the most, what their world is going to be? Will they have oportunities or will they struggle to survive in the worse Mad Max or else scenario?
What about your girlfriend, did she find a job or is she still finishing what she was doing?
Nobody knows what future will be, and that is stressful.
Take care...
Very profound, honest and heartfelt comments.
Well I can't respond in reciprocal length because I tire easily and even though I get through my (too few) online classes very well, they drain me of energy. I do try to get out and about in the sun for vitamin D and I have managed to walk an average of 15,000 steps every day, in between classes. I actually feel fine on the whole, but anxiety about the future starts to infiltrate and gradually dominate and it's not a happy position for any of us to be in right now.
Marta is still at work tidying up the loose ends at E-learning, Fundación Santander. What she does after that, no-one can guess, but she is an incredibly talented 'young' lady of 50 so the World should still be open to her!!
15.000 steps is very good !
I understand that insidious anxiety infitrating, that is why I have stopped looking at the news and avoid the covid talk. As I told a neighbour who was yelling at me that I had to be informed (everytime she sees me she stars with the kind of talk "more deaths, it is comming, you have to this and that...") I know I have to take care and life is not as before but I dont want to live with that virus as if it is the most important thing in my life.
So I fight against anxiety with the beauty and poetry of little things, moments, nature, dreams, books...
I hope Marta will find her way then.
Take care, think positive even if nothing is really very positive at the moment...
