Santa Elena Canyon

Santa Elena Canyon
This was our view of the Santa Elena Canyon from the trail we followed a short distance into the canyon. It was impossible to walk any farther at this point but after hiking back out of the canyon we kayaked into the canyon and went far beyond this point. Santa Elena Canyon and the Rio Grande are the border between the USA and Mexico, so the cliffs on the left of the photo are in Mexico.
