Beavertail Pricklypear
This Was another cacti we saw in bloom on our hike to Fortyninepalms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park, the Beavertail Pricklypear. It was just starting to bloom and though we were happy to see so many cacti in bloom would have loved to see some of the plants with all their flowers open.

Have a good week-end
It is always a pleasure to find you in your home address: Beautiful Nature .
Steve and I went to Provence, France last April and one of the places we visited was THE iconic spot for "Lavender in bloom in France"...let me see if I can't get you a link...here ya go...just scroll down to Notre Dame de Senanque. We knew we'd be a month early for these flowers but taking pictures of these fields NOT in bloom...lol...so sad. *cries into her soup* HOWEVER, we DID visit an incredible bird sanctuary EXACTLY when the FLAMINGO's breeding season was underway! So, you win some and ya lose some, right?
I'll be having myself a creamier version of your flat white in just a little while...yum. There is nothing like the bouquet of rich espresso to fill your senses that it chased by the lovely flavor of creamy mocha...I swear, we have both said that if we could, we'd slowly sip an entire GALLON of that stuff...but we would be rather difficult to deal with I think. :D
I LOVE that you were inspired by some of MY text and photography to go out and appreciate nature outside your door! :) And how fun that you should compare my recent leaf pictures! Do you know how nice it is to read that? *hugs* And finally, you could not be more right about the solution to a downward spiral. It worked like a charm. I wake up happier each day than the day before...in fact, I may become unbearable within days!! "NO MORE COFFEE FOR YOU!!" :D
