Signal Cliff

Driving east from Yellowstone National Park the Bighorn Mountains have to be crossed and there are two options, both beautiful drives. Highway 14 and the Bighorn Scenic Byway lead to Sheridan, Wyoming, while Highway 16 and the Cloud Peak Skyway go through Tensleep Canyon to Fort Buffalo, Wyoming. Both routes are beautiful drives.

This photo was taken along Highway 16 west of the town of Tensleep and Tensleep Canyon and shows a notable landmark in the area, Signal Cliff. This is my photo of the place, a picture of which by my wife I posted earlier. Hers, in my opinion, is the better of the two. The colors in the photo are not in any way enhanced.
