These are the remains of a monastery church. She was with a total length of 88 meters, one of the largest Romanesque churches. After the secularization of 1809, the monastery was begun cancel and the stones were used as building material for the"Festung Ehrenbreitstein ( Koblenz )"is used.

Thank you for the info, Gisela. I first took Klosterruine as the name and googled zero. :-D
So this was the apse where the altar was, says Wiki. It is clever that they left the most important part standing. It looks cool because it has these gothic elements in it already.
