Das Seminargebäude in der Kanalstraße 26 wurde 1829-31 nach einem Entwurf von Friedrich Georg Groß (1791-1837), Sohn eines Ludwigsluster Maurermeisters, errichtet. Es diente als Lehrerausbildungsstätte und Kaserne, bevor es nach dem II. Weltkrieg Schulgebäude wurde. Heute wird es als Grundschule genutzt.
