panorama i never made from 2005 as it would never work out PT Gui's result after fixing control points like i do for M/Way shots. my first ever digital camera Panasonic FZ20

Some times 24mm is just not enough on its own 6 vertical 24mm shots as a panorama first time i have tried this out. Enjoy the extra wide view.....................try and find the ship and fishermen

you get an idea how high the flames can get.

To get the title you will have to open large This shot is as much about the tree as the city lights.

A shot that sums up the whole night in one. Tom at work.

Set out to create the halo for the top of the tree. thankfully the wind dies down to get this right. 128 shots ISO 1000 ( so not so many stars) 50 sec each. the trucks moved through the trees on the highway to the south.

The colour full part of the milky way Dissapearing. Tom brought out some "candles" i nearly died till i found out he had electronic candles. First time Shot at ISO 4000

The light show from the clouds

The shot i got but this is a very heavy crop. The "did not show" the Red Wing Wren so a third trip, from first trip with no big lens. you will get an idea just how small they really are in the landscape.....

They come out of the cracks to warm up Very Fast

I went back to get the Red wing wren i saw the week before but no show.

My first ever Astro photo was this rock still is a great place to bring beginners.More of an Over view of this rock and a way to hide the ever growing pollution of graffiti on the rock.

The ISO 250 42 sec F2.8 set way down so as not to flood the sky with stars as per But the aim was to rest the polar circle on the top of the rock. no mean feat when the camera is 6" above the ground and you are laying on your side to see the image. the unmistakable cut of a very Iridium Flare135 images on a warm night showing a newbie the marvels of the heavens. i should have painted a bit more but i was otherwise detained but the view i was after some times it best to think out side the usual.
