Very well composed Steve; and what an amazing pink colour !!

the one thing you cant hide is all the shots is "Pink" , I was after flat water. Still pink, glad you like it.

It is kind of like that when you see it but its well worth the read on the link. I spent a time here even got birds with pink water all around them.

What is causing this pink colour, Steve? Usually water reflects the sky. Is it an algal bloom?

It is a shot that was back breaking for some 6'3" tripod is sitting on the ground but came out my fav shot of the trip.

It is fantastic... I saw something like that in Africa, Senegal, in the 80ies. Your photo is gorgeous!

I like this very much, especially the dead wood in the foreground. I can almost imagine a couple of old wooden crosses (for Halloween at least!) and a big hand painted sign saying "Poison!"

Sad part is to look the part they would have to be there a few years to look like the fit in with the landscape. Quite a hot place as well I guess helps the pink. many thanks, All the best from down under.

That lake does have that look as it has the very different colour to what we would expect. a shot I had in mind tripod flat to the ground to get it. I know we do share similar likes in photos would have been one you also would have taken, thanks.
