Bush fire 2

Bush fire 2
Clear evidence of all the burning we have been getting and the strong smoke. other side of the road to where we went out in the bush to Bolder Rock Still smells very strongly of burning.

Gudrun, Andy Rodker, Sami Serola (inactive), John Goodwin and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

That is not at all so every thing is burnt mostly the undergrowth and leaf litter but all the trees are alive and only very minor cosmetic damage.. BUT this burn means in the heat of summer the fire cant a hold as there will not be much to catch fire. this is a regular practice to control the size of the summer fires which are far more dangerous.

its a practice that is very necessary for us to live here or the fires burn out of total control.
