Astro Paradise
As an Astro photographer i am always on the look out for the perfect spot. Rocks Southerly aspect no city light pollution, no body going to crowd you out. only problem the shot is taken with a 600mm lens only way to get here is by helicopter no boat access with the high swell and smooth sides.

DJ I believe the rocks have had the soil taken away( wind and rain) from them so they end up on the granite bedrock. All the shot above come from out in our foot hills just the same huge granite bedrock in some case 10 or more foot ball fields big. all these spots have all different sizes shapes rocks on top of them and environment but all are granite as this area is as well another view of the Albany area.
