Andy these are about the size of bread a butter plates yes they are quite large in the river out in the wild. they tend to gather together is almost swarm proportions but not a stinger. sure the best lighting that the natural colour. Steve

Gudrun they are a dull brown colour but these live in a 1.5 meter tube with one blue light on top in a darkened room. Dont know who found out they do glow but its a great challenge to capture them as they are constant movement and the white sand particles as well. Always a place i love to visit the lighting is the biggest challenge for beginners have helped more than one in my time here. "Electric Blue" is always my take on them in there lighting state its unchanged. many thanks worth a visit any time Steve
