LOL I think I will be bringing both my Sony AND Canon on our photo walks, the Sony gives me so many opportunities but of course, it cannot come close to the perfection of the 100mm 2.8 lens for macro! :D I have been having a good time fooling around with its capabilities and it DOES take nice macros, but they are not in the same class as my dedicated macro lens. The pair of cameras scratch all of my itches!
Thank you for the wonderful comments about my Vetch pictures! :) I have to say, that flower is a bit challenging to photograph well. My early pictures are barely ok. It took me time to understand what it is about these flowers which is so incredible (the glowing colors, petals, leaves and tendrils) and then how to capture them...I took SO MANY PICTURES and I met with failure...it's hard to get separation and the correct dof. Even yesterday--I have many dozens of pictures and so many of them are total failures, and the dif between a hit or miss can be just a few inches this way or that. An interesting challenge for sure! :)
Je vous envie tes amis et toi.
Bon jeudi Roland.
