Via all'interno di Mont Saint-Michel

Beyond its unique character and impressive tides, the bay of Mont Saint-Michel holds many treasures. Crossing the bridge-passerelle on foot, one can immerse oneself in the festive atmosphere of the small streets of the village, which, surrounded by medieval walls, wind their way along the rocky walls of the islet. The only way into the circle of ramparts is the Porte de l'Avancée, after which you come to the Porte du Boulevard with its cannons and the Porte du Roi, on which you can see the friezes of the abbey and the town. Passing through the last gate, you come to the Grand Rue, lined with buildings dating from 1400-1500 in which there are now numerous quaint little shops. Finally begins the Grand Degré staircase of no less than 350 steps that leads to the Abbey.
