The Love Path between the Villages

Impressive! Why is it called "Love Path"? Don't tell me it's because desperate lovers jump off the cliffs :)

No, no, it's a part of the Blue Path , that joins 5 villages on the cost, so called because young people from Manarola and Riomaggiore loved to go there. I made this time, in 2008, not the whole path, we went to arrive at sunset to see the crib of Manarola, made with lights, that is the biggest of the world and is visible until end of January. The Cinque Terre, Porto Venere and 3 little islands are Unesco heritage.

Thank you, Joe.Yes, very beautiful, even in January it seemed Spring. With Panoramio friends and because I still lived in Milan it was easier to visit. Where I am now, near the border with Switzerland it's to long to do in a day as we made it here.

Das Aufnahmedatum stimmt wohl nicht. Ich habe gehört, dass es in der Cinque Terre jetzt viel zu viele Leute hat. Wir waren ca. 2004 oder so das letzte mal dort. Damals war es noch wirklich schön....

Hab gewechselt. . Ich hab gelesen dass es zur Zeit geschlossen ist oder war.

And there are terraces evrywhere with dry walls, because they had not enough place for agriculture and had to build it. Something we have almost everywhere.

Davvero. E' pieno di terrazzamenti fatti coi muretti a secco. La gente ha sempre trovato il modo di poter coltivare anche dove c'era poco spazio. Ciao,Dany

Ooh, oh dort gibt es sehr viele steile Treppen.
Wäre gerne dort gewesen, aber das geht nicht mehr...

Eigentlich kann man der Pfad an der Küste nehmen, nur die Leute die Gärten dort haben brauchen die Treppen. Ich hatte gelesen dass es bis vor wenige Tage geschlossen war, wegem Covid.

82 zum ersten Mal, dann noch drei mal in den 90ern. In 300m Höhe die Unterkunft - jede Wanderung endete auf Meereshöhe in Vernazza - dann wieder hoch ins Dorf.... über 12 mal.

Und das war für mich das erste und einzige Mal.

Das ist das Wichtigste, du hast es erlebt ! :)
