Thanks for the message, Amelia. I am allergic to them, so I am aware of the danger. This nest is in a corner of the catholic church property, far away from any humans. The property is very large and ends at an old, deserted orchard.

Schön, das so zu sehen, Dörthe! Wespen sind ja richtige Baumeister. Ich habe einmal ein verlassenes Nest aufgeschnitten: ein wahres Kunstwerk. Leider sind sie so lästig, wenn man auf der Terrasse mit Kaffee und Kuchen sitzt oder wenn man sein Obst ernten will.

Ja, als Baumeister bewundere ich sie auch, aber ich bin allergisch gegen sie, daher bin ich besonders im Herbst vorsichtig.
