This young oriole surprised me this morning. I know that his parents stay in our area, but I have not seen them in a few weeks.

If he wants to be a hummingbird, he needs to work on his flying skills. ;-) I've never seen anything other than hummingbirds at our hummingbird feeders.

This must still be a very young bird, because he flew back and forth from one feeder to the next and never found the grape jelly dish that his parents came to feed on a few weeks ago. He tasted the sugar at the well, but couldn't really drink much.
