WOW, how beautiful. Our tree will not bloom until the end of June. My daughter and family have a large tree in their yard and we're looking forward to the show.

I planted this tree about 20 years ago. It is now about 15 ft tall. In the little town where I grew up in Indiana catalpas were planted along several of the streets, so I have pleasant memories of them.

I love those flowers Ronald.............very nicely taken.

Is it just me, or do those flower-heads look like popcorn?

Thanks, Keith. I never thought of it, but I guess they do look like popcorn. They will pop very soon.

Thank you very much, Pam. Several decades ago, they were a common street tree. I planted this one as a reminder of old times.
