How lovely! I've never seen anything like it, we get frost on trees and plants obviously, but nothing like this ice!

Thanks, Keith. This happens when the air at the surface is cold, but warm, moist air is above.The rain freezes on cold objects near the ground. It has the potential to break a lot of trees, but this time the amount of ice was not enough to cause much damage.
