Von allen Heideflächen der Urlaubsregion Amelinghausen, ist die Rehrhofer Heide, auch Wacholderparadies genannt, am leichtesten vom Parkplatz aus zu erreichen. Dieser befindet sich direkt an der B 209 zwischen Amelinghausen und Bispingen. Stellt man sein Auto hier ab, kann man schon vom Parkplatz aus die Heidefläche sehen.
