From September 5 to 7, 2025, we had a booth at the PHOTON Photography Festival in Illingen / Saar, Germany, where we promoted Ipernity. But the coding provided by 'Share' under the 'Actions' menu was not updated from using the iframe tag. World Photography Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography. This is the 5 th year that our club's World Photography Day group will honor the day and we will be accepting photographs taken on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025. Each photographer may submit one photo. Dear members and friends of ipernity, 1) Quota for adding to a group. This relates to groups having a limit on the number of contributions allowed in a day/week/month time frame. This was controlled on exact 24 hour intervals before the window allowing further additions was again opened. You may notice times with basically no access, times with very slow loading times and other times when it works quickly. There doesn’t appear to be any regular pattern to these disruptions. When this happens to you, please be patient and wait a minute or two before trying to refresh the page, because the site is not offline, just overloaded. While we don't have a solution at this time, there is a work around for this. It takes a small amount of effort, but if mapping is important to you, then you can do so as follows: One can manually change the longitude and latitude for a photo. If the photo is already placed on the map you will see this option just to the right of 'View on map'. I came to Ipernity at a time when the increasing commercialization of existing photo sites and/or communities was increasingly limiting my creativity.
