Thanks, Max and Ms HedgieW --- we didn't lose power, but internet/phone out for a few days. We could hear transformers blowing all over as we are in a very quiet area.(powerlines/transformer underground) -
Was out today - 3/11/14 -- the destruction caused by 1/4 inch of ice is astounding. You had to be careful where you drove as some branches were looking as though they would fall any minute. There have been crews here from out of state ( thank you FL and NJ) .. although some still have no power since Friday when the ice began.
Spring -- it is in my front yard -- in the flower beg .... oh, can't wait until the Dogwoods bloom !!! My neighbor has some kind of tree with small purple/lavender blossoms --- will have to ask what it is and take a portrait !
Spring ... oh, I can feel it coming !!!
