Tomorrow is Mothering Sunday despite the commercial trade trying to spice it up and call it Mother's Day as in the US.
Tomorrow is a bad day to get to my mother's for me with hourly buses and a 30 minute wait between them which would make the trip around 2 hours.
I went today instead and took her some roses. I caught the bus from here that gets me to within one mile of her place and walked the rest of the way. We had a good chat and caught up with the family news before I left to come home. Feeling good I decided to walk home. I avoided the big climb and joined the channel side walk at the bottom of level three. THe day was cloudy and dull and with the tide being out there was not much to look at but I did past the time of day with a few folk.
I ad a soccer game and a couple of rugby games to watch on the gogglie box and as I had put a beef casserole in the slow cooker before I left for mother's I had a lazy afternoon. Time for a catch up

You always go and visit and are a good son to your mum regardless of the day.
The main thing is that when we can is to visit them or give a small gift on the day in question like you do.
As Gracie mentioned some of these special days are held on different dates around the world.
