February dawned dry and bright with a brisk northerly bowing through. It was not the weather for a stroll so I hopped on the 10:30 bus. After picking my pipe fodder up from Morrisons I only had the freezer shop to visit today. This gave me more time to browse the bargains and bargains aplenty the was. I didn't take my back pack and bags with me because I only expected a small shop but with irrisistable bargains around I came away with 3 carrier bags full and all for £14:65, try doing that is one of the big stores.
Back home on the 11:15 to be met by Zazzles who came running when he spotted me,he needed a pet of course not only then but every few yards on the way home.He would lie across my path and roll on his back for a belly rub. Sooty was waiting when we got in and when I dumped the bags in the kitchen they had a great time exploring them while I was taking a few skins off.
I gave them a few pieces of ham from the fridge and got the shopping stowed in peace. The cold is creeping in now the sun has gone and the met office reckon it's feels like -5 with the wind chill factor and I believe them. The cats who have be running riot inside and out all afternoon have gone to ground,Zazzles in here on the settee and Sooty snuggled deep into Ellen's bed which he has to himself until tuesday night because Ellen is away. Stay warm folks

I awoke to snow covered everything but by about mid day it had all melted the Temp having risen to 2.8 C.
I managed a few photos before a new fall of snow began a bit before sunset, came to nothing but I'll see what the night brings.
Stay warm.
