A busy few days here. After Zazzles savaged the compost bag I had to get a move on with planting my Spring bulbs. I started Sunday.
I have a large container 20”x14” I drilled drain holes in the bottom and placed it into position.
I had to place it empty because full of compost it would be too heavy. I layered the bottom with rubble and filled it with compost and left it to settle overnight not forgetting to put the lid on to prevent cat attacks.
On Monday I planted daffodils, tulips and snowdrops in the container and made a lid from netting firmly anchored to the ground. I hope it will be cat prove until the plants start showing.
Next job in one of four large bucket shaped containers I planted more daffodils and snowdrops. I have another container ready for crocus and one for poppy and love in the mist seeds. All of these also have netting on the top. I just hope they are all Sooty proof. Up until now he has totally ignored them and that is very strange. Only time will tell I guess.

Stay safe.
I have some iris bulbs that need lifting and separating but the ground is so hard - clay, I can't get them out. I'm not getting many flowers now which is a shame; I love blue irises.
