I talked to Jenny last night for the last time in three weeks while she is away laying in the sun. It is always strange not having her to talk to when she toddles off,we have been talking almost nightly for around 5 years now and never run out of things to say.
She sent me a message earlier, they have arrived safely and were awaiting the bus transfer to get to the house. 24C when they got off the plane, that is Jenny and Mandi's sort of weather.
I just spotted this spider and web on the buddleia bush,it looks pretty with the sun glinting on it.
I had a wander over to Aldi today for one of my occasional visits as they have good offers on meat products and I got some real bargains in the meat and lots of other stuff.
I filled two if the large bags for life and my back pack. The total weight would be around 40lb I guess but with the load spread I manage the walk home easily enough. I have a new lumber support as the old one has seen better days and was losing it's elasticity, the new one worked like a dream and I didn't have a twinge, mind you the walk is only a little over 2 miles round trip.
OUCH!!!!!

Nice photo.
That's quite a long walk with that kind of weight Mick. Hope your back will be okay.
Thanks for update on Jenny. Bit hot for me, but hope they have a great time.
