I awoke a lot more chipper today and ready for action again. I nice morning stroll on a dry chilly morning was followed by poached eggs on toast for breakfast while watching the birds fighting over their food.
I had more sawing to do for the rubbish bin collection tomorrow and got rid of the last 3 support battens from the shed. Apart from those a have now ditched the front panel and door, the side with the window in,all the shelving plus the framework and several odd bits. This just leaves me one side and rear panel and two plywood roof panels and I am done. A couple of months and I should have the side of the house clear to get at the jungle along the wall dividing the front and back. The timing should be just right for clearing as the vegetation will have died down. I have no idea what lurks in wait for me as I haven't been able to get down there for years. But under a large mound I know there is some good topsoil.
Dinner is going too be a simple but tasty dish I hope. Grilled gammon steaks with my take on hash browns come potato cakes and whole green beans smothered in butter and laced with pepper.
On a different note,Jill the friend Ellen is going to see Lady Gaga with made a very generous gesture regarding the tickets. She donated the £160 price to the fund raising. She is in a well paid job but that does not take anything away from her kindness.Well done Jill.
Have fun I have the bins and containers to prepared for pick up tomorrow, back later.

Have a nice evening.
Mickey fez has replied to GracieGammon is hind leg of pork, cut from a side of bacon after curing (either dry-salting or curing in brine). It may or may not be smoked. Like bacon, it needs to be cooked before it can be eaten
It can be served as a roasted joint, or as steaks or rashers.
