We have a glorious summers day here so it was on with the shorts and sandals and into the garden. I spent the morning reading and doing crosswords with the odd coffee in between. The bird watching was good,the little fellas took no notice of me sitting very near their feeder.

I had lunch out there,cheese and pickle buns and a packet of crisps.
I passed the time of day with Pauline who sat in the garden for a while and later to John who came out to potter about,all in all a pleasant afternoon.
The cats were off on adventures just returning for a pit stop or two before racing off again.
They did find time for a spot of bird watching.

It wasn't until after John went in that I noticed this beautiful plant in his garden so I don't know what it is called.

Heavy rain and thunder promised for tomorrow,great stuff
Time for dinner now a chicken stir fry is on the menu today,yummy.
