We are into December with no sign of frost either here on on the fells.instead we have a rainy season and there is a lot of it. It has been pretty non stop since Saturday.
I hadn't talked to anybody bar Jenny on Skype since the Saturday shopping trip and I have been developing a case of cabin fever.
This morning I decided to take a trip to the local shop whatever the weather and luckily the rain eased long enough for me to stay mostly dry
The streets were deserted as was the shop pretty much with more staff than punters.
Back in the house with a coffee I was just in time to watch heavy rain sweep in again.
Another long day beckons,I think housework and plotting a nice hot meal for later are the orders for today.
Keep warm and dry if you can

Yes time to look among your favourite winter recipes and or invent new ones.
The weather is a mess everywhere we've had frost and snow but as you know my place is about 120 miles north of Glasgow when moved westwards along the line of latitude I am on.
Eat well and stay dry.
Hope you manage to plot a tasty meal.
