After a spell of lousy weather kept me cabined up last night seemed for it to continue. I was emptying my littler bin into the wheelie bin and the weather was foul,a havt sea mist and a downpour of mizzle restricted my view so much I could hardly see across the road.
Today it all changed, the morning was bright and a lot warmer than of late. After breakfast I wrapped up and went for a stroll, not far with my back still a little fragile but I got about 3 miles in.
By 12:30 the sun broke through and stayed for over 3 hours which meant I could take stock of the garden. I moved the 7 planters from the grass ro the pathway leaving scars resembling a battle field but that will soon grow over. In the borders there a a few bulbs braking soil and green shoots emerging and my rhubarb is starting to show signs.
I had company of course the cats love the sun on their back s and lay on the wall basking in it and keeping an eye on me.
The temps got up to the mid 50s f a big improvement and I wa able to leave the back door open for a few hours, the first time this yer I think.
My back is showing no ill effects and I feel alive again, but only for a day tomorrow the rains return but the brief respite cheered me greatly.
