A cool north easterly was blowing this morning with clouds scuttling around hiding the sun. I decided on a long walk over the bridge for some shopping. After a brief chat with some of the fishermen preparing their craft for the season I called at Iceland for my big shop.

It's been 3 weeks since I did one so a lot to stock up on. Brains faggots are on offer at £1 for 6 so I snaffled two packs of those. A new line in pies caught my eye. I am a sucker for pastry and could not resist trying these. They are chicken and stuffing pies,should be interesting. A pack of 9 assorted jam tarts for £1 were my next target before buying proper food. By the time I got to the checkout I was well stocked on chilled and frozen food and the bill came to £38:35 not bad for 2 weeks worth and better still with my money off vouchers for my next visit.

I left instructions for a 1 O'clock delivery and walked at a brisk pace to the other side of town to pick up my pipe fodder then as I was into my walking stride as it were walked back home. I clocked a tad over 3 miles just to keep my mileage topped up.
Now I have time for some lunch before the food delivery and a little catch up on here.;
