It has been a good day for visitors and seeing folk out and about. A trip to the corner shop took me ¾ of an hour instead of 10 minutes because I stopped and chatted to four people along the way.
I no sooner got home and made a coffee than my son Stephen appeared. He was off over town and dropped in to see if I needed anything bringing back.He lingered a while then wandered off leaving me to make some lunch and get ready for the sport on the goggle box.
I watched the egg chasers and settled down to visit on here when my Grandson Carl called in,he was just lounging at home and decided he would pop round to see me which was nice.
By the time he left it was time for the footie which I watched and then I had a shower and clambered into my comfy lounge around gear by then it was time for dinner.
A quickie was the order of the day so it was stir fried chicken with a mild curry over a bed of Basmati rice followed by an apple turn over drowning in evap. That hit the spot just fine and now with a coffee steaming beside me and my trusty old briar pipe alight I am here to catch up with you lot. I hope the day is treating you kindly.
