The wind has turned to the north and cold winds are chilling us a little but the rain has buggered off for a while and it needed to after more flooding in town.There are regular floods on the island it being so low lying but they don't affect people much,only the road to Biggar Village can be a bother at times like this but they are hardy folk down there are used to it.
My back is still acting the oil can so I am having another quiet one I have been catching up on my reading.
I had a nice surprise late this morning,my daughter Ellen's fella Will appeared for a visit. He is still out daily searching for work which is nigh on impossible in the present economical climate so he had time to come and annoy me for a while.
As I am still not up to standing for any length of time in comfort I decided on chicken and noodle casserole for dinner,a nice easy to make all in one meal which I have cooking away slowly. No aromas drifting through from the kitchen yet but it shouldn't be long.
Don't forget if you have any message for Jenny I will be speaking to her tonight. Sorry I will rephrase that I will be listening to Jenny tonight.
Finally just to show you how bored and boring I get when I can't get around here is a piece of useless information
