Well surprises do come along after the terrible forecast of rain for sunset time last night the clouds rolled away to the west and broke up leaving a perfect evening for a stroll and some photos. The Isle of Man was nice and clear making it hard to believe it is 40 miles away. Unfortunately the dreaded triffids are a lot closer and with over 200 lining up like an invasion fleet impossible to miss. The sun was setting behind the most northerly batch so I had no choice but to included them. This time of the year with the sun setting earlier it goes down well short of the Isle of Man which is a shame but I got a few shots away before turning home and a welcome brew, the nights are drawing in and it was a lot cooler out last night.
I have photos one I will put on this blog the others in an album. There seems to be very little interest for photos of some lovely flowers amongst my contacts judging by the response on my albums so this is my last shot at posting photos
I hope the sunset goes down better if not maybe I will just post links to my flickr page.
I'm off to Ellen's later today for a family get together on her birthday, that is always fun.
