Today is a day to celebrate,I was married on this day in 1966. Was it really all those years ago? It only seems a little while ago Margaret and me were setting out on our great adventure. I am long past the mourning stage from losing her, instead now I remember our lives together with great fondness and happy memories.
Another sunny day here but the breeze is still cool,I can live with that at least I can get out and about. Yet again like last year I have hardly got any good long walks in,the weather and my knackered back have seen to that.
Windows 10 is operating fine and the more I discover the more I like it. All my settings were transferred in good nick and even my old Solitaire game I first installed on the windows set up before XP is working fine. I can't remember the platform now,it wasn't Vista I was warned off that. A few of the functions have had a name change but they are easily found.
time for a wander around here

Glad to see that 10 is working well. I loved XP, I really did. I never touched Vista having read nothing but bad reports of it. Work categorically stated we wouldn't have 8, but who knows, 10 may get their interest. Thanks re 9. I thought maybe I'd missed it...
Glad to hear 10 is working well.. Like Fran I loved XP. But they make no money if they don't change the OS every now and again.. I currently have 7, not crazy about 8.1 And yes they completely skipped OS 9. As you said partly to distance themselves from 8. Partly because they wanted a stronger sounding name for the system. They felt 10 had that. They really don't name things in order.. i.e. remember we went from windows 95 to Windows 98?
Glad to hear you have nice weather, I have too after last night thunderstorm.
Before XP, most likely the previous best of the old style was Windows 98 SE
Mickey fez has replied to Stormlizard clubI'm looking forward to you getting Windows 10 on my computer, as I can't seem to find the right way of doing it.
